Just two more 'must have' Snowdrops which in a milder year would be open on Christmas day. Mine missed this by a few days but I took in some 'earlies' in a friends garden, where they were flowering well, right through the Christmas period.....
Galanthus 'Castlegar' is of Irish origin but grows just as well over here!
G. 'Mrs Macnamara' - maybe one of the finest early season drops for vigour and a dependable show - just look how well this is doing?
A sign of things to come, a neat little species, G. lagodechianus.
There will be many more images to sort during the main flowering season!
